The Paco Rabanne 1969 bag project was an exciting endeavor in the realm of 3D artistry. Commissioned by Paco Rabanne in February 2022, our task was to create two captivating videos for their Instagram platform. The objective was to commemorate the launch of the 1969 bag, a design paying homage to the past. ITAK mission involved recreating the iconic bag in 3D, collaborating with designers Nicolas Koenig and Sven Appelblad to breathe life into the videos
Project Deliverables:
- Exploration: Ventured into the realm of 3D design to bring the Paco Rabanne 1969 bag to life in a dynamic and visually engaging manner. Explored the creative potential of merging digital artistry with fashion, aiming to captivate and resonate with the audience on social media.
- Ideation: Conceptualized two Instagram videos—one for the 1969 bag and another for the Nostalgia collection by Alphonse Maitrepierre. Meticulously designed the 3D representation of the bag and collaborated with designers and artists to infuse each video with a sense of artistic depth and surrealism.
- Prototyping: ITAK Studio leveraged 3D modeling techniques to recreate the 1969 bag and develop an imaginative environment for the videos. Collaborated with Nicolas Koenig and Sven Appelblad to bring their artistic visions to life, seamlessly blending 3D design with live-action elements.
- Extra Mile: For the Nostalgia collection by Alphonse Maitrepierre, created a captivating film blending 3D and live-action (green screen) elements. Drew inspiration from Luna Ituka’s work, crafting a surreal aquarium-like world where models Marie Beltrami, Maïba Marshall, Yoko or Yuka, and Miss Fame became characters. Transcended traditional fashion films by immersing the audience in a dreamy, aquatic world while showcasing the collection’s artistic essence.
